Program of the “Smart Cities” Conference, 3rd edition, December 10, 2015

Introduction
The “Development and Urban Planning” research working group within the Faculty of Public Administration – NUPSPA organizes the “Smart Cities” Conference, which has the aim to gather academic scholars and specialists in order to develop a strategy for the future which will be sustainable for the country’s cities. The participation to the conference is open to teachers, researchers and students from all areas of administrative sciences. We also encourage Romanian public administration’s specialists to participate. As a result of this initiative, a manual of development and urban planning will we developed, in which the accepted papers will be published as chapters.
TOPICS ADDRESSED
Papers submitted to the conference will focus on the following topics, but will not be limited only to these:
– e-government;
– e-democracy;
– social innovation;
– IT education for public servants;
– public management;
– urban planning and development;
– architecture;
– urban sociology;
– economy of cities;
– environment;
– cybernetics;
– European integration studies.

Publication
The papers will be published by the Economica Publishing House – a publisher accredited by the National Council of Scientific Research in Higher Education and by the National Council for Attesting Titles, Diplomas and University Certificates.
